Tiger Vs. Gorilla

Tuesday, October 26, 2010

So Nick and I have been having this argument since well we found out we are going to the Congo... Who would win in a flight between a Gorilla and a Tiger?

Now I think that a tiger is going to win, but Nick is pretty convinced of a Gorilla (I think its because he wants to be Tarzan) Nevertheless we thought that we would leave it to you to see who you think would win a flight between the two.

The poll is on the left hand side of the screen! Please feel free to vote, comment and explain why you voted the way that you did!

The outcome of this poll might be the deciding factor of which we should get to protect our home in the Congo (jk)

  1. Gorilla! Have you seen how huge they are? Sure, tigers have claws and teeth, but really, if you're as big as a gorilla it would take a long time to be killed by a tiger unless it gets your head/throat. But if the tiger gets close enough to use its claws and teeth, the gorilla can just grab it and like rip its head off. Plus, gorillas also have mean teeth. And they're jacked.

  2. I think tiger wins. Tigers have been known to kill and eat european brown bears (somewhat similar to gorrilla in size and stature). Besides, tigers are one of the smartest animals in the world, fast, powerful, etc. Tigers hunt alone. Lions and gorillas stay in packs most of the time. Therefore, tigers KNOW HOW TO SURVIVE. I couldn't find any videos of tigers fighting gorilla, but I think the evidence I researched backs a tiger win.

  3. I hate to say it but the gorilla definitely wins. Your underwater tiger is a little threatening (in a damp kitty kind of way) but opposable thumbs always win out. always.

  6. Are you going to steal it from a zoo? I'm still undecided who would win in a fight, but a gorilla is much easier to get in Africa.

Support our Ministry with MAF

Managers / Pilots / Mechanics / Administrators are needed on the field. As a pilot and advisor, Nick plays a very important role of flying and advising on operations in the WDRC program. DRC is one of the most difficult places to do 'business' there are as many or more difficulties going into the office then flying over the jungles of Congo. However difficult his job is a necessary one; there are numerous isolated places and people in Congo that need MAF to be here.

The only way that we can continue to do the work that Gad has laid before us in Congo is by your generous donations.

We are aware that some partner with us for only a season which leaves an opportunity for others to come along side our ministry; because of that we are always looking those who will partner with us in our ministry with MAF to be able to keep our fundraising goal at 100%. Would you prayerfully ask God if He is prompting you to be a part of our ministry?
