House Repairs

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

We've been trying to get a lot of things done around the house as it is officially 50 days until we start our travel towards Hawaii for my sisters wedding! We are so excited to spend some quality time with my family and be able to celebrate the marriage of my sister and my favourite soon-to-be-brother-in-law Jason. We will be there for 2 weeks then will be spending some time  in MAF-US head quarters for some training.
But first... our to-do-list.
We will be leaving our house to a new MAF family that is coming to serve here and we have been trying to make sure the house is in good repair for the next family coming to stay here.
So I have this fancy app on my iPad that lets me take these awesome panoramic photos and I thought I would show off our house so far in all of its good repair and some of its disrepair. (Though some of the photos may look a little bit distorted because of how the photos are stitched together.)
I didn't take pictures on a clean house day so that you can see the house in all of my messy glory :-)

  1. Congrats to your newly-wed sister! It appears that repairs, occasions, and family gatherings could come together, couldn't they? Of course, you wouldn't want to accommodate your family with leaky roofs, faded walls, and broken faucets, so it's only right to deal with all the fixtures a few weeks ahead of their arrival. Support our Ministry with MAF

Managers / Pilots / Mechanics / Administrators are needed on the field. As a pilot and advisor, Nick plays a very important role of flying and advising on operations in the WDRC program. DRC is one of the most difficult places to do 'business' there are as many or more difficulties going into the office then flying over the jungles of Congo. However difficult his job is a necessary one; there are numerous isolated places and people in Congo that need MAF to be here.

The only way that we can continue to do the work that Gad has laid before us in Congo is by your generous donations.

We are aware that some partner with us for only a season which leaves an opportunity for others to come along side our ministry; because of that we are always looking those who will partner with us in our ministry with MAF to be able to keep our fundraising goal at 100%. Would you prayerfully ask God if He is prompting you to be a part of our ministry?
