It has been a busy Month with lots of fun things going on here in Congo and also lots of difficult things. However I will start with a bit of a recap of our family conference we had several weeks ago.


Every year each MAF program has a family conference to be able to help encourage the MAF families and give us a chance for a break from the everyday grind. Last year we did a 'All DRC' family conference in Kenya which we missed because we were home for the birth of Ruth but this year we were able to attend.

2 Couples from Rod & Valeries home church (One of the other MAF couples here in Kinshasa), the main pastor and the youth pastor came all the way from Congo for less then a week to spend time with us.


They brought us all sorts of goodies ... Candy, chips; and nail polish, candles and bodywash  for the ladies! 

We did some different outings, we went to Lac de ma Vallee had a nice walk around the lake, went out for Lunch together and watched a movie. 



It was all around a great time of fellowship and just being able to enjoy each others company.
